Cat is overconfident in herself, but disillusioned with the world. She generally comes across as a bit aloof, and she's not really interested in socializing, preferring to just stay at home with her computer. She works full time as a video game streamer and is quite popular online, but she doesn't have many friends IRL.
WORK
Online she goes by ScaredyCat, and she livestreams and posts videos of herself playing different horror & survival games. She's got nerves of steel and rarely gets scared, so people mostly watch for her skills, personality, and snarky commentary — but her fans find great pleasure in the moments when she does get startled or loose her cool.
While she's playing on her streams, aside from just commenting on the gameplay, she'll also talk about what horror movies/mangas she's into right now. She also frequently rants about the latest news and discourse in tech & games.
Cat is very competitive, and tends to act a lot more lively and intense during multiplayer streams than when she's on her own. Though she normally plays calmly and methodically, she is a sore loser and hates dying when she’s playing with other people.
HACKTIVITIES
Despite her usually aloof demeanor, she's very invested in and curious about the few things that interest her. She loves finding out how things work, and in her free time she likes to hack video games. Generally she just enjoys rooting around, and seeing what weird things she can find and do. Occasionally she stumbles over serious security flaws, in which case she'll kindly email the company to let them know — but if they don't get back to her or fix the issue within a week, her pettiness sets in and she'll just hack their website to publish the security issues right there for everyone to see.
She's too cynical to get involved with more organized social hacktivism, but is not above hacking people and organizations that annoy her personally, out of sheer spite. Her little sister Tori, on the other hand, is a teenage hacker with much bigger goals. Though she wouldn't dream of asking her big sis for assistance, Tori occasionally tricks Cat into joining an operation and do some dirty work for the greater good… simply by framing it as a challenge. Cat is too competitive to turn her down.

Cat's design is inspired by Misa Amane and Emily the Strange, and her beauty mark is a nod to Junji Ito’s Tomie.
Cat is intersex! She was AFAB, and doesn't quite mind being gendered as such, but she identifies as and prefers the term demigirl.
She's got tough skin, but she is very petty, and will mercilessly roast her fans if they annoy her.
Her standard video intro is "What's up I'm ScaredyCat, and I'm not really scared! Today I'm playing […]. Let's go!"
When she does charity streams, many fundraising milestones are usually centered around her doing things that contrast her persona, such as wearing cosplay or cutesy frilly clothes and wigs on the stream.
Though her favorite game genre is horror, she also loves Animal Crossing and Rainbow Six Siege.

Relationships
TORI (little sister)
Tori is Cat's baby stepsister. They have a lot in common, but there's a bitter rivalry between them.
They’re both very competitive, and neither were happy to give up their “only child” title when their parents got together.
Tori is also a hacker, but… she’s a little bit edgier than Cat, who mostly does it for fun. Tori on the other hand is basically gunning to single-handedly dismantle the government, which is a little too intense for Cat’s tastes.
