SCREENSHOT REDRAW

STARTING PRICE 200€

Custom redraw of your favorite anime/gamer moment!
3000 x 1600 px, includes character & background.

SCREENSHOT REDRAW NOTES:

  • Right now I accept screenshots from animes and video games as references.

  • The commissioned artwork can be a standard redraw of a single screenshot of your choice — or you can choose to replace the character(s) in the screenshot with a different character of your choice, in the same pose and setting.

  • Note that if the character is heavily surrounded by things like magic auras or elemental effects, the background behind the character may be left out or heavily stylized, in order to avoid visual clutter.

  • When applying for this commission type, please make sure that your reference screenshot(s) are of sufficient quality (meaning: clear enough that I can make out all the necessary details). For action or magic scenes, it can be helpful if you also provide a link to a video clip that features the moment you want drawn!

  • The pricing for this commission type is not based on the number of characters, but on the complexity of the overall scene (how much work the background, composition, and character designs amount to when you put them all together). I’ll give you an estimate based on your individual request!

WILL I DRAW IT?

YES

I draw OCs and fanart. All kinds of D&D/fantasy, and furry/anthro characters welcome. I also draw animals!

MAYBE

I might draw robots and armor, if you provide sufficient references. Some nudity and some gore is also fine.

NO

I won’t draw portraits of real people, explicitly sexual imagery, excessive gore, or offensive themes.

INFO & TERMS OF SERVICE

HOW TO ORDER?

For regular character drawings, please send your request using this contact form when submissions are open. After I've looked over your inquiry, I'll email you to let you know if I've accepted your commission (along with any notes or questions I have) and send you a Paypal invoice. Please make sure to reply to my email and pay the invoice within 24 hours, in order to secure your commission slot. If you do not confirm your order by responding to my acceptance email, or if you confirm but do not pay my invoice without requesting more time to do so, you will lose your commission slot.

If you want to check my availability for a larger project or a different kind of commission, you can always reach me at hellosunnycore@gmail.com. (You don’t have to wait for my commissions to be open just shoot me an email!)

REFERENCES

If you're requesting a full body artwork, please make sure to include a decent reference that shows your character from head to toe. If you don't have a full body reference of your character, you can include an image of someone else who has the same body type (stock image, celebrity, or cartoon character — whichever you see fitting).

If you want to send video game screenshots as your references, try not to take them at strange angles. Also, please make sure to take the pictures in a place in the game that has natural lighting. If there's pretty "mood lighting" in the screenshots, they won't accurately show your character's colors!

I prefer to not draw based on written descriptions alone, but as long as you can provide me with some kind of visual (like a pencil sketch, picture collage, picrew icon, or pinterest board) we can probably work it out!

If you want to send me multiple references of your character, I recommend putting them together in a Google doc, Dropbox folder, or Imgur page, rather than linking each image individually.

PROCESS

When I get to your place in the queue, I will email you a sketch based on your request. I will also send a preview of the lineart during the process, so you will have at least two opportunities to give me feedback on your drawing while I work on it. Once the artwork is colored and completed, you may request some color adjustments — but I will not provide any other sort of flavor edits or additions after the fact. Please refer to the WIPS and EDITS sections on this page for more information.

Upon completion I will send you the finished artwork as a high-resolution PNG file. I like to sometimes also post the artwork somewhere online (like my website, social media or Patreon), so if you would prefer that I do not share it anywhere, please let me know beforehand.

SPECIFICATIONS

My standard canvas size is listed with each style in the samples section, and the final artwork will be cropped to fit the subject. The resolution is always 300 PPI, and the file format PNG. If the finished drawing needs to be a specific size or dimension, you have to let me know before I start drawing.

DISCLAIMER

Note that by commissioning me, you are by default allowing me some artistic freedom to draw your subject in my own art style! Please do not request that I draw things in a way that is clearly different from my samples. Also, while I will do my absolute best to depict a subject in a way that is true to its design, a part of my trademark is bright, warm and saturated colors, so some hues might vary from your references.

TIMELINE

Sketches will be sent within 3 weeks after an order has been placed, and the following commission updates (1 for lineart, 1 for color) can be expected within 2 weeks of your latest update. All in all, a commission can take me up to 5 weeks to complete. If you need your artwork to be completed within a shorter/specific timeframe — make sure to bring it up before you place the order, to confirm the deadline with me!

Please understand that though commissioning me is probably something that you do in your free time, processing that order and drawing that commission is work for me! I have deadlines and schedules to follow, so I ask that you show some understanding and that you’ll try your best to reply to me within a work day when I send you emails and WIPs!

NOTE
If you request a very short deadline, you’ll have to pay a rush fee, and
I will be expecting prompt replies from you. I can not be held liable for late or unsatisfactory work, if any messages I send go for more than 24 hours without a response!

WIPS

Unless you decide to give me full artistic freedom, I will provide you with a sketch of your commission before proceeding any further with the artwork. Upon seeing this sketch, you have the opportunity to request some changes or adjustments, should you like. Keep in mind that the sketch is just a rough guideline for me to base the lineart on: I will adjust and refine shapes, and add more details as I line it.

I will only start lining the illustration after the sketch has been approved. You will receive a preview of the lineart as well, to make sure that no character details get lost in the process. At this stage, you may only request that I correct or add details that I may have drawn wrong, or forgot to include. You can not request any other kind of changes here, only corrections.

EDITS

As detailed above, by commissioning me you will by default have ONE opportunity to request changes to be made to the sketch, and ONE opportunity to request details to be corrected in the lineart. Should you pass up these opportunities to request alterations, or fail to address any issues before I proceed to the next step, I will not be held responsible for any inconsistencies that may be discovered later.

Once I deliver the colored and finalized artwork, you have one week to request a color adjustment to ensure that the palette of the final artwork is satisfactory. I will not provide any more, or any other kind of edits, to fix issues that are discovered in a completed artwork, as long as the art is otherwise consistent with your requests.

PRICING

All prices are in Euro, and refer to an illustration of a single character with no background. Couple and group illustrations of full body characters are 15% off! Payments are made up front through PayPal invoicing.

Note that the prices on this page are meant for private customers, which means that unless we agreed on something else beforehand, any drawings that you purchase from me are for PERSONAL USE only.

Should you wish to commission art to be used as part of your branding or business profile, or to be used as Twitch/Youtube graphics etc, the price for the artwork will be doubled to include a licensing fee. The price for a full OBS-screen illustration (including a license to use on Twitch and YouTube) starts at 400€. OBS screens can be given »simple animation loops for an additional fee.

ADDITIONAL FEES

All prices listed are starting rates, based on humanoid characters. If your character design is very complex or detailed, the total for your commission might differ. There's no extra fee for small handheld items and props — but if you request furniture pieces or large animal companions to be included, or if your character design includes intricate armor, wings, or additional limbs, those will likely bump up the price.

I might also charge extra if I'm working with no references, designing something new for you, or if you request additional sketches or edits outside of what what is normally included.

REFUNDS

The only situation in which you are eligible for a full refund is if you cancel your order before I start working on it (though please note that PayPal itself might still keep a small percentage of the payment — it is out of my hands). If you cancel an order after I have already started drawing, you may only get a partial refund, as I will keep a part of the payment for the work which I have already done.

You can under no circumstances get a refund for a completed drawing — as you will be given opportunities to provide feedback on the progress of your artwork, it is up to you to ensure that we are on the same page, and that the artwork is proceeding in a satisfactory direction.
